Objectives

  • To provide civic education to community aimed at addressing past direct and indirect discrimination of marginalized groups (women, persons with disabilities and youth) on their right to participation and representation in leadership and decision making at all levels.

  • To lobby the political parties in South Sudan to entrench Affirmative Action in their political party structures to ensure women elective and nominative positions their political party structures to ensure women elective and nominative positions.
  •  Strengthen the capacity of service providers to offer quality survivor -centered services to survivors of SGBV.
  • To promote the culture of gender equality, respect for human rights and addressing negative social norms.
  • To lobby the government to implement all treaties and conventions which promote women’s rights that South Sudan has signed to.
  • Ensure a healthy and peaceful environment for women/girls to live in that is free from sexual violence.
  • Enhance capacity of women entrepreneurs through micro-credit and training on business skills.
  • To network and share information on women issues through exchange visits and publications.
